Rescue Organisation Ireland (ROI) will stage this year’s National Rescue Challenge on Saturday 22 April in Newbridge Fire Station, in partnership with Kildare Fire Service.
This year’s challenge again invites both professional and voluntary emergency services to join forces and to demonstrate and share their skills in two elements – road traffic collision and pre-hospital trauma care. This is the only event in Ireland where domestic and international emergency services share their skills and compete in these two crucial disciplines of patient care.
The national event will provide several different learning opportunities, including the CPR Challenge, in partnership with the Irish Heart Foundation and CFR Ireland, which is free and open to the general public.
