UCC TO HOST THIRD PARAMEDICINE RESEARCH ROUNDTABLE

The Irish Paramedicine Education and Research Network (IPERN) and the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) will collaborate with the Paramedicine Team at University College Cork for the third Research Roundtable Event, entitled ‘Action Research et al’,  taking place on Tuesday 26 August.

 
The in-person event, which is limited to 50 attendees, will be free to attend. Registration to be made via Eventbrite for on-site attendance will be open from 3.30pm and refreshments will be served. The event runs from 4pm to 7pm at Brookfield Health Sciences, College Rd, University College, Cork, T12 AK54 in Rooms 103 A and 103 B. Parking details here.

Welcome and introductions by Prof Conor Deasy (UCC), Pete Thorpe (PHECC) and Dr Niamh Cummins (IPERN and UL).

Research presentations by:

  • Brian McKeon (Health Informatics Researcher, National Ambulance Service)
  • Eamonn Byrne (Mental Health Researcher, Trinity College Dublin)
  • Edel Burton PhD (Prehospital Pharmacy Researcher, University College Cork)
