The Irish Paramedicine Education and Research Network (IPERN) and the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) will collaborate with the Pre-Hospital Grand Rounds (PHGR) Midlands to celebrate International Paramedics Day 2025 on 8 July.
The following speakers will address this hybrid event on Tuesday 8 July, which is free to attend and has both onsite and online options available for attendance:

“IPERN-PHECC Research Roundtables aim to build capacity, culture and collaboration in our research community to improve practice, policy and patient care in Irish paramedicine,” according to IPERN Chairperson Dr Niamh Cummins, who is Associate Professor in Public Health at the School of Medicine in the University of Limerick.
“These events are an opportunity for sharing knowledge and ideas, generating discussion, networking and building relationships between practitioners, service users, academics, policymakers and other healthcare professionals and researchers,” Dr Cummins noted.
Anyone with an interest in out-of-hospital care is welcome to attend, either in person or online, and does not need to be experienced researchers. CPC/CPD Certificates are available to attendees if required (Award of 4 points).
Onsite Attendance: Registration must be made on Eventbrite, which is limited to 50 attendees. The National Ambulance Service College in Tullamore, Co. Offaly is the venue for the evening event, which starts at 4pm. Refreshments will be provided on arrival and during the networking break.
