Registration is open for this year’s Emergency Services Show, co-located with the Emergency Tech Show, which returns to the NEC Birmingham on 16-17 September.
Marking its 20the year, the Emergency Services Show (ESS) is set to welcome more than 16,000 professionals and over 500 exhibitors, bringing together the people, technology and insight shaping the future of emergency response.
This year’s event places a strong emphasis on learning and professional development, with a comprehensive programme of CPD-accredited content designed around real-world operational pressures. Attendees will have access to seminars and workshops led by frontline practitioners and sector leaders, focusing on practical challenges such as interoperability, resilience, response capability and workforce development.
The 2026 programme sees the continued partnership with the Royal College of Paramedics to deliver dedicated CPD sessions tailored to pre-hospital care and clinical practice. The collaboration aims to ensure paramedics and ambulance professionals may gain accredited learning while staying up to date with the latest advancements and best practice across the sector.
Beyond the content stages and seminar theatres, the event offers two focused days to explore, compare and make informed decisions. The exhibition floor will showcase more than 10,000 products and solutions spanning operational equipment, vehicles, PPE and digital systems used across police, fire, ambulance and rescue services. Visitors can engage directly with suppliers, test solutions first-hand and evaluate what works in live operational contexts.
The co-located Emergency Tech Show will highlight the technologies redefining emergency response, from AI and data to communications and connected systems, offering insight into how digital capability is improving decision-making, efficiency and public safety outcomes.
New and returning feature areas will reflect the evolving demands placed on services.
These include the new ‘Fleet of the Future’ zone, focused on helping organisations balance performance, cost and sustainability in vehicle operations, and the long-standing Collaboration Zone, which brings together charities, voluntary groups and partner organisations supporting responders before, during and after incidents.
Four core themes – Lifesaving on the Frontline, Emerging Threats and Resilience, Training and Development and Fleet of the Future – will shape both the exhibition and seminar content.
