Registration is open for this year’s European Emergency Number Association (EENA) Conference & Exhibition, which will take place in Riga, Latvia on 15–17 April, offering three days of discussions, practical insights, and opportunities to connect with over 700 public safety professionals from over 50 countries.
The conference programme will focus on strengthening preparedness and resilience in emergency communications, addressing challenges posed by geopolitical uncertainty, natural disasters, and the phasing out of 2G/3G networks, public warning systems, data integration, Next Generation 112, AI in emergency communications, while the forthcoming EU legislation will also be explored.
The 2026 EENA Conference & Exhibition will explore how emergency communications can remain dependable in a changing landscape, connecting technical realities with practical resilience planning and lessons from the field. As Europe accelerates the shutdown of 2G/3G networks, a new and urgent reality is emerging, as in some cases, people are losing the ability to reach emergency services, particularly while roaming.
