Dedicated to supporting and guiding emergency services and military personnel to discover and transition to new careers after retirement, the third ‘Out of the Blue’ Career Horizons Expo will take place on Friday 4 April at the RDS in Dublin.
Organised by Out of the Blue Training & Employment Services, this will be the first of this year’s events, following the success of two previous expos for frontline workers and military personnel in April and November 2024.
“We are excited to provide this valuable platform for emergency services and military personnel as they navigate their next career steps,” according to Stephen Moore, Founder of Out of the Blue Training. “Their dedicated service deserves our utmost respect, and this expo is our way of saying ‘Thank You for Your Service’,” he added.
Offering a wide range of resources and opportunities, including guest speakers and panel discussions, the event will provide an opportunity for individuals to gain insights and inspiration from industry leaders and experts. The ‘CV Clinics’ will provide personalised advice and guidance on crafting a standout CV, including tips to maximise LinkedIn profiles.
The expo will provide the chance to explore employment opportunities, upskilling programmes, financial advice, not to mention health and wellbeing services. There will also be a range of networking opportunities connect with potential employers and fellow transitioning personnel.
